Welcome to the Lampe2x2Challenge, an international 2×2 basketball tournament designed for players’ development. The Lampe2x2Challenge is a unique opportunity for players to develop their basketball skills at a rapid pace. The tournament includes both men’s and women’s categories and features only three age groups: 8–12/13, 13–16/17, and 17 and up. This structure allows players to compete with both older and younger opponents, which is crucial for their overall development.

At the core of the event is communication — a key factor not only in sports but also in life. Participants are encouraged to connect with players younger or older than themselves to form teams and take part in this unique competition. The Lampe2x2Challenge is built around the idea of learning through diversity, challenge, and collaboration.

Our goal for 2025 is to hold the event in five different locations and to double that number the following year. The dates are already set for Stockholm, Sweden, where the tournament will take place on the 5th and 6th of July at Fryshuset, the biggest basketball club by members. Another confirmed stop is Gliwice, Poland, from the 24th to the 27th of July, in collaboration with the basketball club GTK Gliwice.

Additional dates for August are coming soon and will include Barcelona and Madrid in Spain, as well as Tallinn in Estonia. The Lampe2x2Challenge continues to grow, offering new opportunities for players across Europe to learn, compete, and develop through the game of basketball.
